The ideal size for me would be a 10.1" tablet. Having used both, I prefer the regular Android tablet however, it's been a long time since I had a Kindle Fire. Most Android tablets are pretty much the same however, the Kindle Fire is a bit different. A Kindle Fire tablet is an Android customization by Amazon. The note system looks also good when on remote video meetings etc and you need to make notes - often easier than fiddling with ballpoint and paper.Īnybody used one of these ? -This IMO is what a decent tablet should have been at the start !! especially if one can communicate with a not too small screen to remote computer.Ĭlick to expand. Slightly expensive I know but due to Covid travel and visiting restrictions I saved a slew of money in 2020 !!!! so I thought I'd buy myself a late Xmas prezzie. I found this : Onyx Boox Note 3 Hands on Review - Good e-Readerġ0 - 11 inch screen, runs android and can connect to Windows machines etc - small enough to be carried around and can even attach a mouse and great it seems for note taking with decent pen system. One problem with the smaller kindles is that they really aren't great for PDF books !! I'm looking for something which is still light and small enough to be reasonably portable but with a bigger screen than a Kindle - yet still has great e-reader capabilities - also supports 14 formats natively.
